Custom Invitations

  • When should I get started?

    The sooner the better! As long as you have most of your details in place, getting started early is always great. 3-6 months prior to when you would like to send out your invitations allows for ample design and printing time.

  • How long does the process take?

    Depending on the nature of the invitation, custom design can take anywhere from 2-12 weeks. Printing time varies based on the method chosen, but on average please allow 6-8 weeks for production time which includes proofing and printing.

  • What is the difference in printing methods?

    Paperdoll offers three standard printing methods. A variety of specialty options are also available upon request.

    Digital-A flat printing method that allows for endless colour options at no extra cost. White and metallic ink cannot be printed digitally,

    Thermography-Raised to the touch, thermography is an elegant option for wedding invitations. Cost applied for each individual colour.

    Letterpress-A relief printing technique that allows for vibrant colours and a beautiful depth of print. Lovely thick cotton papers may be used with this printing method. Cost applied for each individual colour or foil option.

     

     

  • Do you offer guest addressing?

    Yes, Paperdoll offers guest addressing at an additional charge.

  • Will I receive a hard copy proof?

    No, all proofs are in PDF format and sent via email.

  • Do you have a retail location?

    No, Paperdoll Studio operates by appointment only.

  • Where do you ship?

    Paperdoll ships within Canada and the United States. If you are overseas and would like to place an order please do so via phone or email.

  • Why does the colour on my card look different?

    Colours onscreen may vary slightly from the printed colour. If you would like to ensure that your colour is exact please inquire about a sample package.

  • What is your return policy?

    Paperdoll does not accept returns or exchanges on custom goods.  If there is a mistake on our end (oops) your product will be reprinted and shipped out to you at no extra charge.

  • Will I see a proof before my cards are printed?

    Once your online order has ben placed you will be emailed a proof within 48 hours. You will be given one complimentary change. Additional changes will be charged $20.00 each.

  • Can I order a custom design?

    Yes, you can learn more here and request a quote. Additional fees may be charged.

  • What kind of paper do you use?

    All stationery cards are printed on #80 cover card stock in soft white. If you would like a different paper stock or a printing method please inquire about a custom design.
